Mumbai Traffic Police collect challan worth Rs 9 Crore during lockdown
Mumbai Traffic Police, between March 20 and May 13, have collected Rs 9 crore by issuing challans to those violating lockdown norms in the city since the travel restrictions came into force. India is under lockdown till May 17 to combat the deadly coronavirus.
With 3,967 new cases and 100 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, the COVID-19 tally in India reached 81970, the Union Health Ministry stated on Friday.
