Mumbai's Monsoon Attack: Water, water everywhere | Ground Report

The India Meteorological Department has made a forecast of thunderstorms with lightning and moderate to intense spells of rain with gusty winds 30-40 kmph for the next three hours at isolated places in the districts of Palghar, Thane, Raigad, and Mumbai. The IMD advised taking precautions while moving out and asked residents to not stand near large trees.

The weather department has issued an orange alert for Mumbai for Saturday and a red alert for Sunday. Mumbai and Thane districts would “very likely receive heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places (on Saturday),” it has earlier said.
