Maharashtra: CBI needs permission from state govt for probe in any case
The State government of Maharashtra has taken a major decision regarding the CBI. The investigation agency will now be required to take permission from Uddhav Thackeray government if it has to investigate any case.
The decision comes after the uproar created in Sushant Singh Rajput death case regarding the CBI probe. CBI will now need permission from the Home Ministry of Maharashtra.
