Life jackets mandatory for boating in Varanasi

After several accidents in the Ganga river recently, the government has decided to put a stop to boating without people wearing life jackets. Also, taking selfies while boating is prohibited. People without life jackets will not be allowed to board the boats. Some people are refusing to wear life jackets due to the pandemic.
