Polling for 54 assembly seats across 9 districts of Uttar Pradesh has begun, around 2.06 crore voters are eligible to exercise their franchise in the seventh phase of UP polls 2022. A total of 613 candidates including 75 women are in the fray in the seventh phase of the UP election 2022.
Voting will be held at 12,205 polling stations and 23,535 polling booths in 177 police station areas. SP stronghold Azamgarh and PM Modi's parliamentary constituency Varanasi is in the fray in this round of polling.
