J&K: Encounter underway b/w security forces & terrorists in Anantnag

An encounter between security forces and militants started in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday morning. A police official said that security forces received information about the presence of militants in south Kashmir this morning. The search operation was launched after the siege of Kapran, a forest area in Anantnag district, said that the operation turned into an encounter after the militants opened fire on the security forces.
