IMD Rain Alert: The havoc of floods and rains across the country continues unabated. Incessant rains over the past few days have worsened the flood situation in various states. While the rain provides relief from the humidity and heat, excessive rainfall has deepened the flood crisis in some areas. This natural disaster has completely disrupted lives and made relief and rescue operations challenging. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a new warning today, predicting heavy rains. The IMD has issued an alert for weather conditions across the country from east to west. According to the Meteorological Department, torrential rains are expected in many states within the next 24 hours, potentially worsening the flood situation.
