IMD Issues High Alert For Heavy Rainfall, Watch Big Updates Only On ABP News

Currently, many states across India are experiencing heavy rainfall. In several places, incidents of cloudbursts have been reported, and in some areas, the excessive rain has led to landslides. From north to south, relentless rainfall is making life difficult for people. The meteorological department has also predicted rainfall in Delhi-NCR. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected over the next few days from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh to Maharashtra. Specifically, IMD has forecasted that Madhya Pradesh, central Maharashtra, and Gujarat could experience extremely heavy rainfall, with more than 20 cm expected to be recorded in these regions. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also anticipated in Uttarakhand, eastern Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, and coastal Karnataka. In these states and regions, the IMD has predicted that rainfall could measure up to 12 cm or slightly less.
