IAF to purchase new fighter jets
Amid tensions with China at LAC Defence Ministry has decided to purchase 33 new fighter jets for Indian Air Force. 21 MIG 29 from Russia and 12 Sukhoi-30 MKI will be purchased soon. 21 MIG-29 will cost 7418 Crore and Sukhoi will cost 10730 Crore. Already present 59 MIG-29 will be upgraded.
