High Courts pull up state govts over negligence towards COVID surge
The Allahabad High Court asked the Uttar Pradesh government of Yogi Adityanath to impose a six-day lockdown in at least five cities of the states including Kanpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur etc. But the state government refused to do so.
The Delhi High Court has sought report from the Kejriwal government over steep surge in the Coronavirus cases.
