Ghaziabad: Chaos at a Gurudwara over distribution of ration to the needy
A Gurudwara committee in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad has stocked up ration to distribute it among the needy amid the lockdown. However, as soon as the news spread, people thronged to the Gurudwara in large numbers which created ruckus and the Gurudwara committee had to call the police to control the crowd.
In times of lockdown, many daily wage labourers are finding it tough to arrange food and steps like those taken by the Gurudwara committee are helpful. However, when people gather in huge number, it defeats the purpose of lockdown and increases the risk of Coronavirus outbreak.
