Farooq Abdullah released from 7-month detention
Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah has been released from a 7-month detention on Friday. He promised that he would be in the Parliament in the next two weeks and raise voice of the people of Kashmir. Farooq Abdullah was in detention ever since the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5 last year.
"I can't believe I'm free. I hope everybody else is released too. I will attend Parliament if allowed," he added.
