Exam Reform: PM Modi Assures Strict Action Against Exam Mafia

After the Anti-Paper Leak Bill was passed by Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a video message addressing students and young people, assuring them that strict action would be taken against those involved in examination paper leaks. He said the bill, containing stringent legal provisions, had been approved by both Houses and marked an important step toward creating a transparent and reliable examination system. Modi stated that paper leaks have affected both state and central governments and have created uncertainty for students’ futures. He warned that gangs involved in leaking papers and harming students’ careers would not be spared. The Prime Minister also emphasized the need for education system reforms, greater use of technology, and stronger monitoring mechanisms. The message was his fourth direct communication with students through Instagram following protests over examination irregularities. The government highlighted several measures, including the formation of a task force for exam reforms and administrative actions within examination bodies. Modi assured that efforts would continue to ensure a fair and secure examination process for students across the country.
