The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids on the residences of West Bengal minister and TMC leader Sujit Bose in Kolkata over an alleged municipality jobs scam, according to PTI. Searches are also underway at the premises of TMC Minister of State for Planning and Statistics Tapas Roy. BJP leader and West Bengal Legislative Assembly Opposition Leader Suvendu Adhikari criticized the TMC, claiming both leaders are involved in recruitment scams and demanding legal action. TMC State General Secretary Kunal Ghosh accused the BJP of politically motivated attacks, calling the ED action vindictive and alleging misuse of agencies against the party. The situation has intensified political tensions in the state.
