Digital transactions have increased after lockdown: Paytm Vice President
Paytm, the country's largest digital payment company, has witnessed a huge growth in digital transactions since lockdown. The company has seen a growth of more than 50% in categories such as grocery items, milk booths, recharge. Around Saharanpur, Kanpur, Barabanki, Lucknow, small towns in UP Bihar, which never seemed to increase digital transmission, have seen unprecedented growth. The largest increase has been seen in recharge, grocery stores, milk shops. A target of 500 crores has been set for PM cares fund. In the last 10 days, we have deposited more than Rs 100 crore.
