Devotees depart for holy Amarnath Shrine amid tight security from Pantha Chowk base camp | Srinagar (J&K), June 30 (ANI): Devotees in large numbers departed for Amarnath Shrine from Pantha Chowk base camp in J&K’s Srinagar on June 30. People with great enthusiasm and devotion departed from the camp amid tight security. Security forces have been deployed for the safe and peaceful journey of the pilgrims. The Amarnath Yatra commenced on June 29 and will conclude on August 19. On Saturday, the first day of the annual pilgrimage in the south Kashmir Himalayas, which is being carried out under strict security, over 13,000 pilgrims visited the sacred cave shrine of Amarnath.
