Coronavirus India Update: Active cases rise to 2.85 Lakhs

India witnessed a huge rise in COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours after the country reported around 91 thousand fresh infections. Meanwhile, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has reached the Election Commission's office to brief officials on the COVID-19 situation across the country as five major assembly elections are scheduled in the coming months.
