Former Union Minister Jitin Prasad is likely to quit the Indian National Congress today and cross over to the BJP. Prasad's difference with Congress was no secret; he was part of the G-2 or group of 23 Congress leaders who had written to party chief Sonia Gandhi last year calling for sweeping reforms, collective decision-making and full-time, visible leadership'.Jitin Prasada, who was in Rahul Gandhi's inner circle, went on to become Minister of State in the Manmohan Singh government.
