China opening multiple fronts of confrontation: US State Dept

As tension mounts between India and China, US State Department has launched a scathing attack on China. In the statement, the US has said that as the world is busy fighting Covid-19, China is trying to take advantage of the situation by opening multiple fronts of confrontation. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had earlier tweeted, "We extend our deepest condolences to the people of India for the lives lost as a result of the recent confrontation with China.We will remember the soldiers' families, loved ones, and communities as they grieve."
