Chicken breed Kadaknath proved life-saver for many during lockdown

In Jhabua, more than three hundred farmers are associated with Kadaknath. Farmers facing losses in agriculture have the support of Kadaknath's business. Apart from Jhabua, many people have also started this work in the border district of Dhar, Bastar, Rajasthan and Gujarat. There was a long dispute between Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh over the GI tag of Kadaknath chicken. Finally, Madhya Pradesh got Kadaknath's GI tag.
