Breaking News: Transformer Fire Triggers Massive Power Crisis in Gurugram

A major power crisis hit Gurugram after a transformer caught fire at a power house in Sector 72 on Friday evening. The blast and fire led to the shutdown of seven power houses, causing electricity outages in several sectors for hours. Residents struggled in extreme heat as power remained disrupted until around 10 PM. The incident also affected the city’s Rapid Metro services, leaving many passengers stranded inside trains.
