BJP MPs stage protest outside parliament over PM security lapse in Punjab

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs staged a protest in front of Mahatma Gandhi statue in the Parliament premises over PM security lapse in Punjab. The BJP has accused the Punjab government of conspiring the lapse in the security of the Prime Minister, calling it a criminal offence, the BJP leaders demanded a thoro investigation in the matter. In a major security lapse on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cavalcade was stranded on a flyover for 15-20 minutes due to a blockade by protestors in Ferozepur, Punjab.
