Bihar Election 2025: Yogi Adityanath says NDA built a new Bihar, RJD-Congress ruined it once

As the campaign for the second phase of the Bihar Assembly Election 2025 draws to a close, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a massive rally in Araria, urging voters to support the NDA for continued development and stability. Yogi praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership, saying that since 2005, Bihar has moved from darkness to progress under the NDA government. He highlighted that today, Bihar’s youth are emerging as civil servants, entrepreneurs, and innovators, contributing to the nation’s growth. Taking sharp aim at the RJD and Congress, Yogi accused them of dragging Bihar into an era of “jungle raj,” reminding the crowd that during RJD’s 15-year rule, more than 60 massacres and over 30,000 kidnappings took place. “No one was safe, not traders, doctors, or daughters,” he said. Yogi also invoked religious sentiments, recalling how Congress and RJD opposed the Ram temple movement, while the BJP stood firm in faith. “They said the Ram Temple would never be built but today, a grand temple stands in Ayodhya,” he declared to loud cheers. He credited the NDA for transforming Bihar’s infrastructure with better roads, electricity, and airports like Darbhanga Airport, while also focusing on welfare schemes such as free ration for 80 crore people and health insurance for 50 crore citizens.
