With Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other celebrities visiting the Uttar Pradesh temple town on Monday, the Ram temple in Ayodhya saw a sizable crowd yesterday.  About 5 lakh worshippers defied the severe winters to visit the temple a day later. According to officials, about 3 lakh of them were able to offer prayers during the day as an equal number waited for their turn outside.
