Auto sector slump: Car sales drop by 8.4% in December | Masterstroke
2019 has been a forgetful year for the automobile sector of India. Even in the month of December, the sector could not reverse its fortune and continued its downward trend.
The country has been reeling under severe economic downfall and GDP is pegged to grow at 5 per cent in FY-2020, compared to 6.8 per cent in the same fiscal, last year.
Car sales dropped by 8.4 percent in the month of December. Meanwhile, the slump in two-wheeler sales was almost double at 16.60 percent. Watch this report.
