Assembly Election 2024: Why is BJP Requesting a Change in Election Dates? | ABP News

Political activity has intensified in Haryana regarding the upcoming assembly elections. Voting for all 90 seats in the state will be held in a single phase on October 1. However, the BJP has now requested a change in the election date. The BJP has begun a series of meetings in preparation for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir as well as Haryana. Today, the party's Central Election Committee will hold a meeting to deliberate on the candidates for both states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the meeting. In Haryana, elections are scheduled for October 1, while Jammu and Kashmir will conduct its elections in three phases.
