14-days LOCKDOWN in Karnataka amid Coronavirus surge
A record 34,804 new cases were registered in a day across Karnataka, with 20,733 in Bengaluru, said state health bulletin on Sunday.
"With 34,804 patients testing positive on Saturday, the state's Covid tally shot up to 13,39,201, including 2,62,162 active cases, while recoveries increased to 10,62,594, with 6,982 discharged during the day," said the bulletin.
Karnataka government has imposed a 14-day lockdown in the state.
