CSIR to start testing on extracts of ACQH plant for Coronavirus drug
CSIR DG Shekhar C. Mande says that they tried clinical trials of ACQH plant for dengue a few years back and results were favourable. It is now going to be tested as a possible cure for Covid-19.
ACQH plant is used a lot by the tribals and is found in Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Rajasthan. Drug Controller General of India has given permission for this testing.
