COVID-19: 'Smokers are more at risk', says WHO
Smoking can make people more susceptible to serious complications from a coronavirus infection, World Health Organisation said. Smokers have also appeared to be more susceptible to breathing complications caused by the disease. The WHO, in its FAQ on the novel coronavirus pandemic (or COVID-19) said: "Smokers are likely to be more vulnerable to COVID-19.
