Capital punishment for rape accused, says Ravi Kishan
BJP MP Ravi Kishan said that rape accused should be sentenced capital punishment. There are other countries where accused are given capital punishment.
Opposition members in the Lok Sabha led by the Congress on Monday raised the gang-rape and murder of a young woman veterinary doctor in Hyderabad with Speaker Om Birla advising them to take up the matter in Zero Hour.
Soon after the House assembled for the day, several opposition members were on their feet seeking permission from Birla to raise the issue.
