The authorities have been focused on securing the area as they suspect the presence of militants.The officer stated that the security forces have imposed a strict cordon in the Jalura Gujjarpati area of Sopore police district and intensified the search for suspected militants on Monday morning.He mentioned that during a search operation on Sunday, the security forces discovered a militant hideout, and gunfire ensued, leading the army to establish a cordon in the area. Authorities stated that there have been no reports of casualties in the operation so far.
