Anurag Thakur explains which income tax slab is better

Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur explained the two income tax concept while speaking to ABP News during Jan Man Dhan Budget conclave. He said "it was the demand of people for a concession in individual income tax. So we have made duifferent provisions for that. Those under Rs 5 lakh of income will not have to pay any tax. Those between 5 and 7.5 lakhs will have to pay 10% tax, those earning between 7.5 lakhs to 10 lakhs will give 15 % tax.  Those earning Rs 12.5 lakhs to Rs 15 lakhs will pay 25 per cent tax."
