Meerut: Power cut at Police post after Challan issue to electric dept's JE
The HCP of Traffic Police in Meerut on Thursday cut off the challan of the Scooty of Junior Engineer of Electricity Department at Tejgarhi intersection. JE Somprakash Garg was not wearing a helmet and described himself as a government employee. When HCP Rajesh Kumar told the traffic rules to be equal for all, JE Somprakash Garg cut off the electricity at the Tejgarhi post and the medical station. Said why the outstanding bill was not filled as per rules.
During the checkup, HCP asked JE for scooty papers, JE said that he too is a government employee and is going in an Emergency. JE showed DL and RC. But he wasnot wearing a helmet and he did not possess a pollution certificate. After which HCP cut the challan for not putting helmets and not showing the pollution certificate.
He was charged three thousand rupees. JE gets angry at this. Outposts and police stations owe electricity for lakhs of rupees.
After which JE called the lineman. The power of the Tejgarhi post was cut off. The video has went viral.
