Kumbh 2019: Amit Shah performs 'aarti' at Triveni sangam

BJP President Amit Shah today visited Kumbh in Prayagraj along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. 

Shah met various saints and seers during his visit. Meanwhile, the departure of Akharas from Kumbh has already begun.

The next main bathing day in Kumbh will be on February 19 on the occasion of Maghi Purnima.

Shah's visit assumes significance amid demands by various Hindutva groups for the government to bring in a law for the early construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
