Unlike its predecessor, which made audiences emotional, this film promises laughter with depth, highlighting the theme of inclusion. Aamir revealed that Sitare Zameen Par features 10 fresh faces, each portraying characters with unique challenges, aiming to show that "everyone has their own normal."Aamir, playing a basketball coach this time, said his role is the opposite of his earlier strict teacher character. He emphasized the film’s message of acceptance and joy, describing it as an uplifting story that entertains while making viewers reflect.
