What Is Neeraj Chopra's Diet | Health Live

Neeraj Chopra, who won a silver medal in javelin throw at the Paris Olympics 2024, follows a strict diet routine to maintain his fitness. Despite adhering to a disciplined regimen, he occasionally indulges in spicy and tasty treats. In an interview, Chopra revealed that body fat percentages vary by sport; bodybuilders should have around 5-7%, while javelin throwers should aim for about 10-10.5%. Chopra’s body fat is currently at 10%. His lunch typically includes yogurt, rice, dal, vegetables, grilled chicken, and salad. For snacks, he prefers chia seeds, bananas, dry fruits, and fresh juice. At dinner, he avoids carbs, focusing on vegetables, protein sources, and salad. Before bed, he occasionally has milk, dates, and sometimes jaggery. Although he was a strict vegetarian until 2016, limited vegetarian options during training in Portland led him to incorporate non-vegetarian foods like salmon into his diet. Despite his strict diet, he enjoys occasional indulgences like churma and golgappa.
