After Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Pateka of sexual assault on the sets of Horn Ok Please in year 2008, #MeToo campaign has gained momentum. 

Later on many women have come forward and shout out loud and clear about the harassment they have gone through in work places or other spaces. The names of many actors, directors, journalists and comedians have surfaced.
