After Wayanad, Congress President Rahul Gandhi files nomination from Amethi
Rahul Gandhi reaches District Collector office in Amethi. In Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi, voting shall take place on the 6th of May, as part of the fifth phase of voting in the upcoming elections.
During the road show, Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, her husband Robert Vadra and their two children. The three-term MP will take on Union minister and BJP candidate Smriti Irani in the Lok Sabha election in a virtually direct contest as the SP-BSP-RLD alliance has decided not to put up any candidate.
