The crunchy, salty potato chips that we get in diverse flavours is arguably everyone's favourite snack. While having a packet of it, you must have wondered how chips are actually made in the factory. Well, a video revealing glimpse of the process of turning potatoes into chips has gone viral on the internet.
The video of making chips on a large scale in a factory was shared on Instagram by Anikait Luthra, a digital content creator.
The clip opens to show two men carrying a sack full of potatoes and unloading them inside a machine. Soon the process of making chips begins. First the potatoes are thoroughly washed with water, after which they are finely sliced and washed again thoroughly. Once dried they are put in boiling oil to fry.
Finally they are mixed with several spices and packed and kept inside cardboard boxes ready to be transported.

Since being shared the video has amassed over 8 million views and tons of comments. Several users flooded the comment section with interesting remarks.

One of the user on seeing the video jokingly wrote, "Bhai banate itna saare ho aur dete sirf 4 chips [They make so many chips in the factory and then give us just four in every packet]."
"Bro you forgot [the] main ingredient that is air," wrote another user.
