The 20-year-old from Ohio, who has over 37 million subscribers, is impressing both fans and officials by fully embracing Chinese culture. Speed’s six-hour-long streams are hugely popular, gaining nearly 10 million views. One of his most talked-about moments in China was his Kung Fu training. Before learning Kung Fu, Speed went to the Great Wall of China and did the backflip on it. Later, he wore a traditional martial arts outfit and a bald cap to look like a Shaolin monk. What started as a fun lesson turned into a real test of strength when instructors broke sticks over his body.
