Buck Escapes From Jaws Of Wild Dog By Dragging It Into Water, Watch Nail-Biting Video

A video of a dramatic confrontation between a buck and a wild dog in the African wilderness has gone viral on the internet. The clip shared on YouTube records the miraculous escape of the buck from the jaws of the wild dog. Benji Solms a guide at Serondella captured the video and shared it with LatestSightings.

The clip opens to show a buck (Nyala) captured by a lone wild dog, also known as African painted dogs that are incredibly skilled and efficient in hunting. But the Nyala is not ready to give up and jumps into a waterbody dragging the wild dog in with it. The battle continues between the two until the Nyala's screams attract lions which indirectly save it.
"It all began with a lone wild dog chasing a female Nyala. However, the Nyala was not ready to give in just yet and swiftly outsmarted the dog. She jumped into the dam and managed to get out of harm's way for now," LatestSightings wrote in the description of the video
The video was shared a month ago and has again gone viral with more than 7 lakh views, over 2,000 likes and a whole lot of comments.
"It's amazing how these animals fight back to survive. It's inspiring," commented one YuoTube user on the post.
