Instances of road rage in Bengaluru, silicon valley of India, is nothing new. Some of the instances arise out of the frequent traffic jams in the city. Therefore, it is very important to keep your calm when confronted with such a situation. A commuter did exactly that and the video that has now been shared on social media has gone viral.

In a Reddit post, a user shared his experience about being a witness to a road rage incident near Nandi Durga Road., and shared the lesson he learnt from the driver's reaction to the argument by a man driving a motorcycle. According to the post, the car driver asked the motorcyclist to move to the side after his car had a problem starting. The man refused to listen and kept shouting and honking, but the car driver maintained his calm.

"Yesterday, around 10 am near Nandi Durga Road, I was on my way to the office when I noticed a motorcyclist following a car. He was knocking on the car's window vigorously and shouting, questioning why the car had signaled him to move to the side when he had been following the same path."

"The person in the car explained, "Son, my car wouldn't start; that's why I asked you to pass on the right." However, the motorcyclist continued to express his frustration," the user wrote on Reddit.

"The motorcyclist persisted in shouting at the car's driver, but the driver remained calm, wearing a smile on his face. He asked, "Why are you shouting? What will you achieve by shouting? My car had trouble starting, which is why I asked you to go around from the right because you were honking continuously." He maintained a polite tone while speaking. However, the motorcyclist continued with his honking and shouting," the user further wrote.

The Reddit user went on to describe the situation further and wrote, "I can shout too, but why should we shout when we can have a calm conversation? Look, son, don't get angry; it's not good for your health. Your face is turning red, and continuous shouting can lead to high blood pressure issues." He added, "I didn't use any harsh language; I simply asked you politely to go around from the right." Even the pillion rider on the motorcycle agreed with the car's driver."

he further says that the car motorcyclist started to act confrontational after which the car driver began to play Shah Rukh Khan's song Chaiyya Chaiyya from the film Dil se.

"I was truly impressed by his attitude, and this is how we should deal with road rage, just as that car's driver did," wrote the user at the end.
