Earlier a model with 8-pack abs, 16-inch biceps Gaurav gradually transformed into his feminine self and he constantly shared pictures post his 'MTV Splitsvilla 8, stint, the show that was won by Prince Narula. (Pic: Instagram)

When Gauri arrived on stage she was in a black bikini but with a wrap around her waist. She began to tell her story to the judges saying, "I'm practicing as a dermatologist in Delhi leading a very basic life. Being a woman is a gift and i've gifted myself with a female organ." (Pic: MTV India)

Post her exit from the show, Gauri shared with IE - “I am not a model and I participated in India’s Top Next Model only for sheer experience. It’s been just a year since I underwent my surgery and my body hasn’t recovered completely. I knew I will not to be able to carry with the competition and thus did not carry on with the show. My appearance in the show has given me a lot of confidence and I am now raring to go and win the world." (Pic: MTV India)

Obviously she couldn't continue on the show with this condition and judge Milind Soman tried to make her understand this by saying - "You've taken a very brave step in your life and i don't think you would like to not give your 100% here whereas you've given more than 100 percent in your life. After hearing about Gaurav's transformation into Gauri, Judges and mentors including Malaika were thrilled and then they showered her(Gauri) with some obvious questions. (Pic: MTV India)

Judges got shocked at first but then Gauri continues - "Going through a transformation from a male body to look like a female, i'm still nervous because i have broad shoulders, broad arms. I'm growing into a woman and i'm loving it. I'm becoming feminine day by day." (Pic: MTV India)

Malaika added to it - "You look wonderful as Gauri. I'm sure your Dad is very proud of you and we are all very proud of you too". Gauri got emotional and cried but was happy she could make it on this stage. (Pic: MTV India)

It was then the time for bikini round and sexy girls walked one by one while the judges grilled them with the questions. (Pic: MTV India)

Gauri has undergone sex change surgery and she was the highlight of Episode 1 that aired on 21st October on channel MTV. Thrilled to have begun her journey on the show, she however had to quit..here' why..! (Pic: MTV India)

Malaika asked Gauri if she transformed into a woman to enter a show like this? To this Gauri responded - "Oh no! Not at all.. Mere andar bachpan se chal raha tha, mai karna chahti thi lekin circumstances aise the..pata nahi tha kahaan jaana hai kisse baat karni hai.
