Telangana Government Extends Duration Of SSC Public Exams By 30 Minutes

Telangana SSC Public Exams 2022 will be held from May 23 to June 1

Hyderabad: Candidates taking the SSC Public Examinations this year will be given extra 30 minutes to complete their test, the Telangana government said.

The exams will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. instead of 9.30 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. in previous years, officials said.

Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy held a meeting with officials on the examinations in Telangana. The minister announced an increase of 30 minutes for each exam as per the authorities' instructions. The exam will now take 3 hours and 15 minutes, instead of  2 hours and 45 minutes.

SSC Public Exams 2022 will be held in the southern state from May 23 to June 1. 

Minister Sabita said that due to the pandemic delaying the start of physical classes, it was agreed to hold the SSC Public Exams 2022 with six papers. The tests will cover 70% of the overall syllabus, the time of the exam will be raised by 30 minutes, and there will be more choices in the questions.

  • May 23 - First Language Paper Group A - (9.30 am - 12.45 pm)
  • May 23- First Language Paper-1 - (9.30 am - 12.45 pm)
  • May 23 - First Language Paper-2 - (9.30 am - 12.45 pm)
  • May 24 - Second Language - (9.30 am - 12.45 pm)
  • May 25- Third Language (English) - (9.30am - 12.45pm)
  • May 26 - Mathematics - (9.30 am - 12.45 pm)
  • May 27- General Science Paper (Physical, Biological Science) - (9.30 am - 12.45 pm)
  • May 28- Social Studies - (9.30 am - 12.45 pm)
  • May 30- OSSC Main Language Paper - 1 (Sanskrit, Arabic) - (9.30 am - 12.45 pm)
  • May 31- OSSC Main Language Paper - 2 (Sanskrit, Arabic) - (9.30am - 12.45pm)
  • June 1- SSC Vocational Course (Theory) - (9.30 am to 11.30 pm)
