Hyderabad: Confluent Medical, an Arizona-bound medical devices company, has announced the establishment of a pilot manufacturing facility in Hyderabad and its aggressive expansion plans for the next 12 months.
The company is slated to bring high-end technology to manufacture Nitinol products, touted to be first in India. Confluent Medical Technologies provides medical device manufacturers with various Nitinol contract manufacturing services. From delicate and straightforward wireform devices to complex and unique laser cut designs, they aim to bring the latest in technological advances in Hyderabad.
Confluent Medical supports the design, development and manufacturing of life-saving implants, minimally invasive delivery systems and other medical devices utilised in some of the most innovative and technologically challenging applications in the medical device industry.

The announcement was made after IT & Industries Minister KT Rama Rao’s meeting with Director, CEO & President, Confluent Medical, Dean Schauer, in the USA.
Minister KT Rama Rao said, "I'm extremely happy to note that Confluent Medical Technologies has chosen Hyderabad, Telangana to mark its entry in India. MedTech is one of the strategic focus sectors for the Government of Telangana and we are happy to offer all necessary support to Confluent Technologies to expand in Telangana."

Fishin’ Company To Invest Rs 1,000 Crore in Telangana
The Fishin' Company announced that they will be investing Rs 1,000 crore in Telangana. The aquaculture major to set up a fully integrated freshwater fish culture ecosystem including hatcheries, feed manufacturing, cage culture, processing, and exports.
"The project will be located at the Mid Manair Reservoir in Rajanna Sircilla District & will produce 85,000 MTs of Tilapia fish per year using cage culture methodology. The project will generate direct employment for 3,000 people & indirect employment for 2,000 people," tweeted Minister for IT, Industries, MA&UD, Telangana.
