X owner Elon Musk reportedly made a toast to the US President elect Donald Trump and his family.

X owner Elon Musk took a seat beside US President-elect Donald Trump at the family table for Thanksgiving dinner at Mar-a-Lago. Trump's wife Melania Trump and her 18-year-old son Barron were also seen at the table, indicating Trump's growing bond with Musk. A video footage from the event has been doing the rounds on social media, showcasing Trump giving Musk a friendly shoulder pat and the world's richest man then throwing both fists up in the air to celebrate. 

As Musk was seen in his celebratory spirits, Trump smiled and turned to Barron as other dinner guests stood around taking photos and clapping along.

According to a PageSix report, an insider said, "While there were no formal speeches, a toast was made by none other than Musk, who took a moment to raise his glass to Trump and his family."

According to CNN, Musk and Trump were seen roaming around in the room together while interacting with guests. The duo reportedly also had some long conversations on serious matters. 

Elon Musk & Donald Trump's Friendship Is Blooming

Amid lively "YMCA" dance sessions with President-elect Trump during Thanksgiving festivities, many observers see the connection between Musk and Trump as one poised for longevity. Musk’s initial forays into political discussions began with exchanges involving Zelensky, progressed to debates over cabinet appointments, and have now evolved to championing his DOGE initiative alongside former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

Musk’s increasing clout, especially as the leader of major companies with significant government contracts, has sparked curiosity and concern. During the presidential transition, he reportedly spent a notable amount of time at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, solidifying perceptions of a growing alliance. Trump even joked about “how he won’t leave.” Trump said, “He likes this place. I can’t get him out of here. He just likes this place.”

Musk has gained an almost familial standing. A day after the elections, Musk was seen in a Trump family photo at Mar-a-Lago which was posted by Trump’s granddaughter Kai. She posted another picture with Musk, and said he had achieved “uncle status.”
