In a bid to gradually shift its dependency from OLED display-making partners Samsung, BOE and LG, Apple is said to adopt microLED panels for its entire product line soon. The tech giant is likely to move from organic light-emitting diode to micro light-emitting diode display technology. The Cupertino-based company also mulls releasing an iPhone with a microLED display in the future, says a report by supply chain publication DigiTimes. The microLED display technology would allow for higher brightness, decreased power consumption, improved contrast ratio and other benefits as compared to the current iPhone lineup that uses OLED displays.

Google has identified the security bug in Android that led to “incorrect privacy indicators and notifications in the privacy dashboard” and gave way to WhatsApp "accessing the microphone of the device" even when the messaging platform was not in use, media reports say. Google at its recent I/O 2023 developer’s conference opened access to its generative AI chatbot, Bard AI, to 180 countries, including India. Ever since Microsoft-backed OpenAI released the prototype for ChatGPT in November last year, the world has been smitten by how human-like responses ChatGPT comes up with when it is asked to solve user queries — ranging from generating complex programming codes to solving maths problems for school students. Instead of us trying to figure that out, we decided to put the chatbots to task by asking both of them the same question. And their responses — or rather the difference in their style of replies — say a lot about what makes the two chatbots different from each other.
