HP Goes All-In On AI With OmniBook 3, OmniBook 5: Check Out How Much They Cost

HP OmniBook 3 and 5 laptops aim to redefine everyday computing with Snapdragon and Ryzen AI chips.

HP has rolled out its latest laptop offerings — the OmniBook 3 and OmniBook 5 — focusing heavily on artificial intelligence-powered features and long-lasting performance. Announced on July 7, the new laptops are part of HP’s push to offer smarter, more responsive machines that are aligned with modern hybrid workflows.

The key highlight is the integration of Copilot+, Microsoft’s generative AI tool, baked right into the system, alongside HP’s own AI Companion and Windows Studio Effects. These additions promise to enhance tasks such as video conferencing, real-time assistance, and productivity, without the user needing to toggle between separate apps or tools.

Power Meets Endurance: What’s Inside

Under the hood, the 14-inch OmniBook 5 is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1-26-100 processor. It houses an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) that can handle up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS). HP claims users can expect up to 34 hours of battery life on a single charge—an endurance figure that could make it one of the longest-lasting AI laptops in its class.

Adding to the user experience, the device features HP Audio Boost 2.0, which enhances audio clarity by boosting low-frequency sounds during video calls. The 2K OLED display ensures vibrant visuals, while the overall package is aimed at users who prioritise performance and style in equal measure.

AMD Power for OmniBook 3

Meanwhile, the OmniBook 3 is available in two sizes—14-inch and 15-inch—and runs on the new AMD Ryzen AI 300 series chipsets. These machines step things up with a powerful 50 TOPS NPU and are designed for creators and multitaskers alike. A Full HD anti-glare display, 250 nits brightness, and an 85% screen-to-body ratio make it ideal for work and entertainment.

Connectivity gets a thumbs-up too, with a range of ports including USB Type-C, two USB Type-A ports, and HDMI. The built-in HP True Vision camera, dual mic array, and noise-reduction tech aim to elevate video call experiences in busy or noisy environments.

Sustainability Meets Smart Tech

HP has also emphasised its commitment to sustainable design. The new OmniBook devices feature components like keyboard caps and speaker enclosures made with recycled plastics. Moreover, the entire line is ENERGY STAR certified, affirming compliance with energy efficiency standards laid out by the US Environmental Protection Agency.

"With HP AI Companion, Copilot+ integration, and Windows Studio Effects, users can expect a seamless experience that evolves with their needs," the company said.

How Much Do They Cost?

The OmniBook 5 starts at Rs 75,999, while the OmniBook 3 series begins at Rs 69,999. All models are available in Glacier Silver and can be purchased via the HP Online Store, HP World, Croma, and Reliance Digital outlets.
