Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 & Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 To Be Launched In Early July In Annual 'Unpacked' Event: Report
The leaked renders reveal that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature a 3.4-inch folder-shaped cover screen with a 120Hz refresh rate
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 might be released this year sooner than expected. According to reports, Samsung is expected to release both devices in around early July. Samsung might hold its annual Unpacked event this year in early July and the South Korean smartphone maker is likely to release both Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6 at that event.
According to another report, the event will be hosted in Paris prior to the start of the Paris Olympics which will kick off on July 26.
Approximately two weeks after their initial launch in South Korea, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 had their second unveiling in San Francisco, USA. This raises speculation about the possibility of an earlier event. According to supply chain sources, the final testing of the products is expected to occur in April, significantly ahead of the scheduled July launch date. Consequently, the likelihood of a domestic launch in South Korea, similar to the previous year, appears slim, as reported by GSMArena.
Additionally, the report suggests that Samsung will not introduce any new foldable or rollable form factors this year. However, it does not rule out the possibility of the Galaxy Ring.

The leaked renders reveal that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature a 3.4-inch folder-shaped cover screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, likely maintaining the same dimensions as last year's model. Positioned at the top left corner is a dual camera setup, with specifications currently undisclosed. The hinge design also appears similar to that of the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Internally, the Galaxy Z Flip boasts a 6.7-inch inner screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The renders indicate a subtle crease where the phone is folded. According to leaked specifications, the displays of the smartphone are expected to remain unchanged this year.
Reportedly measuring 165.0x71.7x7.4mm, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is noted for a 0.5mm increase in thickness, potentially attributed to the inclusion of a larger 4,000mAh battery. Other notable specifications include Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, offering up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of built-in storage. The handset is anticipated to debut with Android 14-based One UI 6.1, incorporating Galaxy AI features introduced with the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year.
