Redmi 13C India Launch Date Revealed: Check Out Specifications & Expected Price

Redmi 13C will come with up to 16GB of RAM, including 8GB extended RAM.

Redmi, the Xiaomi subsidiary focusing on affordable smartphones, is set to unveil its latest budget smartphone — the Redmi 13C — in India on December 6, following a period of relative quiet in product launches. While the device made its debut in select markets outside of China a few months ago, there are speculations that the Indian version may feature hardware modifications.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, Xiaomi is reportedly equipping the Redmi 13C in India with the more robust Helio G99 chipset, replacing the originally deployed Helio G85 from MediaTek for global variants. The remaining specifications are expected to stay consistent with the global model.

Redmi 13C Price (Expected)

While the company remains tight-lipped on the pricing, Redmi did mention in an official statement that the Redmi 13C will definitely be a budget-friendly smartphone. The official listing page for the Redmi 13C on Xiaomi's website reveals the smartphone will be available in Stardust Black and Star Shine Green colour options.

The official listing also confirms a dual rear camera setup on Redmi 13C, headlined by a 50-megapixel main sensor, mirroring the global version. The rear camera setup will also sport a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies, an 8-megapixel snapper has been placed inside a waterdrop-style notch at the front. The phone will offer a soft-light effect on the display itself for brighter selfies.

In terms of display, the Redmi 13C will feature a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen that offers a resolution of 720p along with a peak refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, an industry standard now.

Redmi 13C will come with up to 16GB of RAM, including 8GB extended RAM. It will offer a storage of up to 1TB.

The device will run on Android 13-based MIUI custom skin on top. It will be powered by a sizeable 5,000mAh battery that will support fast charging with speeds up to 18W. As per the official website, the battery can support up to 23 hours of video streaming on a single charge, while the fast charging capability will be able to juice up the device enough to provide five hours of music playback with just five minutes of charging.
